"How
To Write A Movie In 21 Days" by
Vicky King
Synopsis
No
book can find your ideas for you, but this one provides a great service
in helping you discover and develop a story, and to come up with the
completed script. King helps you learn to think cinematically, in the
language of the movies, and to keep asking the essential questions as
they work: What's the story? Who is the story about? Do you care about
the characters? Does anyone? King also tries to help you survive not
just the structural pitfalls that can derail a script, but also the
mental or emotional whirlpools that can prevent any artist from finishing
a project.
Personal
opinion:
This
little book help my creative juices flow. Actually, made me want to
write. Perhaps in 21 days the next 'blockbuster' from yours truly will
be in the works!

 "Minotaur"
by Stephen Coonts
Synopsis
Navy
Captain Jake Grafton develops an aircraft known as the Minotaur using
Stealth technology and deals with a Defense Department information leak
in this techno-thriller. PW commented, ``Coonts is most compelling when
he focuses on the politics of design and procurement; his comparisons
of Navy and Air Force procedures are admirably sharp-edged.''
Personal
opinion:
Awesome
thrills! Stephen Coonts takes you flying one more time. His action pack
novel will 'catapult' you into new dilemmas. I think this is by far
one of the best novels written by Coonts. He puts you on the deck of
the carrier and in the cockpit of the jet.
